Buyer beware

Buyer beware

A Poem by Jesse Landry

All alone with these hardened scars
What remains after all these wars
Battled harded but weak of mind
Post trauma wreck so hard to find
Something to hold on to
swimming in this fog i cant see you
In my head i know whats true, sometimes my heart just gets confused
Ive been beaten bloodied and abused, left for dead my soul refused
Better off alone or eternally used, people f****n suck and im not amused
This light it shines right through
The bullshit showing me whats true
Shadows will fade then i can see
With the end in sight i can finally be me
The clouds dispersed the darkness gone
With a little help i can finally move on
Its Easier with a little bit of light
Easier for me to feel whats right
In my head i know whats true, sometimes my heart just gets confused
Ive been beaten bloodied and abused, left for dead my soul refused
Better off alone or eternally used, people f****n suck and im not amused
To know the truth and to feel its real
Its perspective and they both appeal
With the damage done in need of repair
The posted sign reads buyer beware
