Loves Tide

This one is about being caught up in love each and every time it hits us because we want to believe that we can live within it's core and still be free.

Love comes in like a tide on the sea 

swallows you whole but you're too dumb to see

busy being taken away by the flow

how could you? How could you know?

We want to believe it so much we ignore

all the signs until the wake up call

but then it's too late the tide turns to air

and all you're left with - your heart that's fell bare.

But we can't escape it there's just no way!

We want to feel it but want to be free

so we sit with our hearts wait for the next tide

but forget to pick back up our pride

but one day we'll learn before its too late 

and we'll run away, manage to escape.
