In war and battle, God seeminly hides his head in disgust and..waits. Oh, he's called upon many times; "Oh, dear God..." "Oh God Ple-e-e-e-ase!" He's damned quite often. And yet, wars rage on and man plays the starring role...
Nice haiku. Evokes strong emotional response, just as they are intended to do...

It is true that much of war has been about religion, I have always found this ironic in the supreme.
