Bard of Desolation II: Gold Song

Bard of Desolation II: Gold Song

A Poem by Jus
"

Surprise, the couple in the aforementioned poem got back together. Seeing this, it prompted me to conclude what could have turned into a story in it's own right. Here's the happy ending I wasn't expecting for them.

"

A Bard of Desolation no longer
I've found the notes to grow stronger
A melody so entrancing
Like a thousand deities dancing
Gilded in life and want and love
A perfect symphony meant to rise above
I bring forth my pain, let it float away
I'd hope not see another darkened day
No, I shant dwell on what we don't
And I cannot expect to be done what won't
I must embrace the lives I am told
And I must never sell what they want sold
Cry for me, pale skies!
Weep now and satiate these thirsty eyes!
Give me love, give me want, give me life,
Let me sing of beauty in joy and strife
Allow my words to carry Everlong
Allow the twilight to behold my Gold Song!
