My Charming Lady

My Charming Lady

A Poem by Wanderer

The Goddess of beauty

So charming, so attractive

Loved by all

Ever smiling, always happy

The world stops to look by

As you walk

Flowers start blooming

The path you walk

God must have been very happy

When he created you

That happiness never returned to him

There is no one else like you

Many try to court you

Countless have fallen for you

I pray you look at me and

Feel the same as I do for you

A wonderful poem shared. But John Donne said it best. "You don't find love, love find you."
"Many try to court you
Countless have fallen for you
I pray you look at me and
Feel the same as I do for you"
I liked the above lines. Love is never fair. We must attempt or wish we did. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
