Final Goodbye

Final Goodbye

A Poem by Wanderer

This may be the last kiss we shared

The last words we exchanged

Why we allowed our love to die

Why we pushed us into despair

The sun has fallen

Nights have taken over

The silence is for everyone to hear

The end is almost near

No songs will be sang

The dance floor will remain empty

There will be no exchange of letters

There will be no gifts, no flowers

As we part and the heart cries

The times we shared flashed by

I dread the times to come

Final glance and we bid goodbye

It is more sad when know the ending already.
"No songs will be sang
The dance floor will remain empty
There will be no exchange of letters
There will be no gifts, no flowers"
The above lines are solid. When we learn. What we had is gone. The heart will know sorrow. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
