Vegetable Dream

A Poem by Uncle Buster
"

I have no idea where this came from.

"
  Vegetable Dream

I took a dream one night
That I was a pig.
The family came 'round and
Commenced to eat me up.

When half gone I
Called it off and changed to
Vegetite,
Me thinks a humble turnip,
There I stayed,
Cozy in ground,
Unafraid of family jaws.

What can I say? I like cheese. I'm a cantankerous old git. (should git be capitalized?) By the way, I'm a bad speller - no, a creative speller. Yeah, that's it. more..
