I gotta get away form your shadow.

Oubliette Escape

(VER)

I took a walk, late one Saturday.

You said not to jump, but I did it anyway.

There was a light, I saw it clear as day.

But you were there, standing in the way.

(CHOR)

You cast your wicked spell;

like a sun spread silhouette .

I’m terrified of you;

Lost in your shadows I fall

in your oubliette.

I can’t get away.

(VER)

Alone in the dark, waiting till you arrive.

Look at me now, looking just barely alive.

Stealing breath the weight’s crushed from my lungs.

I’ve always been told I’m a bit of a sharp tongue.

(CHOR)

You cast your wicked spell;

like a sun spread silhouette .

I’m terrified of you;

Lost in your shadows I fall

in your oubliette.

There’s no jailbreak.

(BRIDGE)

(VER)

I’m looking for a door, can you show me?

Kind of pointless since I lost my key.

The headlights dim, because I’ve opened my eyes.

I don’t see you, but a few new guys.

(CHOR)

You cast your wicked spell;

like a sun spread silhouette .

I’m terrified of you;

Lost in your shadows I fall

in your oubliette.

I can’t break free.

(CHOR)

I broke your wicked spell;

The downfall of your silhouette.

I’m alive and well.

The map to your shadows;

The door in your oubliette.

I found my escape.
