time, you w***e

time, you w***e

A Poem by Tigran Avoundjian
"

old restored.

"

time you w***e
you charge too much
and dont f**k enough
sit there with another cigarette
saying in between puffs that you need more coke

i gave you my wrist watch
you called it a fake
it was my graduation gift so many years ago
straight from a certified rolex dealer

a burst of smoke and a veil of laughter
your wrinkles paved with a pale mask
of powder and too much blush

time you w***e
you disgust me
passed out in another motel

legs spread and panties on the TV
hair a mess and tits sagging
smelling like cheap perfume and infidelity

time you w***e
you charge too much
and dont f**k enough
and yet i still call on you
when i feel the Dark creeping up behind me
and i need to share a smoke
with an old friend

(time you w***e
you charge your friends more
than you would any stranger)

and for that
time i still love you.

the title caught me right away the other day, but i didn't get to it. i saw it again today, and figured what the hell...

this is actually really well written! dark and dirty and skeezy for me, but i definitely liked it. written very well, the repetition that you sparingly used worked really well. and the description and flow were just great.

nice job, you w***e
