Time Heals Everything, Even A Broken Heart

Realising I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life

I felt like such a child
High off of an innocent love
Woke up one day as an adult
After the heart was torn away.

Yes I cried for many nights
My soul so broken
So lost without you
Emptiness took your place my dear.

Months have gone by
I still remember how you made me feel
No longer missing you
But wanting someone to be close to.

I want to share my heart
With that special someone
Time has healed my broken heart
I'm ready to love again.

The scars do remain
They just need a little more time
My soul mate is out there
Thank you for leaving me
Now I can find the one.

Time heals everything
Even a broken heart.
