Silver Binds The Pre-Immortal

Silver Binds The Pre-Immortal

A Poem by SilentAuthor

Your voice lingers in my ears
Your scent is on my mind
Another taste of your ruby lips
And I'll know everything will be fine

But this is no longer my reality
No longer known as the 'norm'
Away from you unrequested
And now my heart is torn

Every night is an eternity
Without your soul near mine
Please I ask to be with you
Even if it's one last time

My location is a mystery
My future is unknown
The only thing I've seen in days
Are the four walls keeping me alone

My wrists are bound in silver
My blood has stained the wall
My tears are nothing but hollow shells
My voice can no longer call

My energy has diminished
My will is getting weak
My sanity is leaving me
Answers are what I seek

What have I done for this to be
Who would do such a thing
To take me away from the one I love
To hang my life on a string

I have cuts all over my body
I have bruising on my limbs
But the pain that hurts me most of all
Is missing your gorgeous grin

All those little things I miss
Those things I took for granted
Now I find my perfect world
Is a world away from slanted

I can hear footsteps closing in
A set of two or three
In a moment that door will open
And I'll be history

The metal door creaks open
And I raised my bloodstained head
Two dark clothed beings somber in
With their gaze they wish me dead

They enter my confinement
And they part one left, one right
They pull me up onto my feet
How I wish I had strength to fight

Then one more figure heads my way
A figure that I recall
I know that silhouette so well
It is you, my love, my all

I could cry with happiness
How long I've craved for you
I never thought I'd see you again
I can't believe this to be true

I see you gasp and run my way
With tears running down your chin
I raise my chains and pull you close
And take a deep breath in

Your scents the same, your taste is too
Your beauty is divine
I hold you as close as I possibly can
To convince you everything is fine

But everything is not fine
And you are pulled away
I go to run after you
But I am held in place

One of these beasts go after you
And hold you away from me
I beg that they don't harm you
For your safety I'd give eternity

You scream my name as you're made to leave
And I know what to expect
My love I am glad that you
Don't see what comes next

I had my wish for one last glance
And now my time has come
My heart you will never leave
Yet my whole body is numb

My final tear leaves my cheek
As two sharp points pierce my neck
What little blood that's left is drained from me
Civil morals these beasts neglect

I take my final gasping breath
And all I see is you
You made my life worth living
My love, my soul, my true
