Only Time can Tell

Only Time can Tell

A Poem by UponTheBrink
"

One about how short life is.

"
My little pocket watch
Made of gold and steel
12 tiny notches
That only time can tell

Its many faces
Its moving hands
As time passes
Its churning sands

For my little watch,
Inside my pocket
Upon its chain,
my precious lockette

Can tell time
Without a mouth
Move a hand
Without a sound
Conjure up memories
Without a thought
For time can't be found,
Only sought
