How Does The Sun Rise

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion

To the east, the mourning sun rises 

Secretive and silent 

Weeping golden light through my bedroom window 

Each ray slips through my hands and spills onto the floor 

In a melancholy puddle where I bathe 

In her glorious, beautiful sadness

I read this previously and enjoyed the write but was disappointed about the effect the sun had on you
for me, it surpasses even chocolate
which side of the bed do you exit, possibly that is the problem

On the contrary, I think it's a beautiful and wonderful thing. I like that it comes across as so sad for some reason, but I meant it more of as an ode to it's beauty.
Not sure how it turned out the way it did, but I like it just the same.
