I don't miss you.

I am your voice of logic and reason

I'll be going away for the season

Or possibly longer

So, if you wonder

Why all of a sudden your brain is uneven

And why you are melting

And possibly smelling

The scent of hot cocoa every time you go to pee, then

Just rest assured

I know it's absurd

I'll tell you why, but you won't believe it...

You're turning to chocolate, you fat, vagrant mongrel

You should never have drinken straight out of the bottle

Your body is s**t

And yet you still dawdle

Just nod, or I'll throttle you.

A lot or a little

But before I get back, you had best trim your middle.

I don't expect you fit as a fiddle...

Just maybe not a gravy pot who forgot he's past his fill.

I bid you adieu

And fare-thee-well, too

I do hope you prove to have woken, anew.

Without your nonsense,

I think you lose and gain those pieces depending on how mentally healthy and happy you are.
I've always been one to run for a tin of ice cream (chocolate, of course) when I'm down in the dumps. I think this is a great inner dialogue that I find very relatable. Keep up the good work, chocolate. Be the chocolate, don't let the chocolate be you. :)
