When the best is given,

Yet it is not enough.

And all roads walked down

Are rocky and rough.

Life finds nothing here

Left worthy..to wish to live.

For when your best is not enough;

What is left to give?

Someone said my Best was't good enough but his grace was sulffishant and give all the glory to God of Heaven. Best is given by not good enough by who's measuring sticks.

It may be that sometimes our best is not enough.
However, "enough" implies a measure of something, and we aren't always the ones who set the measure.
So, sometimes the measure of enough is the difficulty, not that one didn't give sufficiently.

You piece prompts me to pause and to consider this. Sometimes it is the effort that falls short. Sometimes that standard to obtain is more the issue.
