Change

Just words from a tired mind.

           "Change"

 

Life is change, not one thing remains constant.

I thought all of my life, my heart

Would be full of love for you.

Life changed, we both grew;

Eyes strayed...to someone new.

Nothing remains constant,

Changes do come... leaving the heart

And mind... forever numb.

Where is the love,I felt we knew?

The promise of "I love you."

Life is in constant change...

And instantly, rearranged.

it makes perfect sense...people don't know how good they have it...so they stray...later there are regrets...but it is too late...they have broken that one heart who was faithful and could have stayed, would have stayed, forever.

Life is about change. Without it we stagnate. We are not the same people as we were before, too much has changed. Hopefully change brings us to a better understanding of ourselves. Good job, Kathie
