Academic Validation

A Poem by Vanita

Is it the sense of pride that fills my brain;

or possibly the daunting of my peers

Sometimes the sensation affects the plane

my mind is wired like a set of gears.

Must I force logical thoughts and scenes

It’s hopeless as I slip into a dream,

it only manifests and intervenes

with how I painted the ‘3D’ to seem.

Exhausted with the repetitive,

but I cannot put this facade away

Consciously showing a scholarly skin,

the thought of stopping filles me with dismay.

The refreshing sensation of applaud,

shame of finding out to be some-what flawed.

Hey! If you're wondering why the picture isn't showing, I'm pretty sure there's a small size limit on images. What I do is scale it down in a word document and re-download it.
