Kain-1 Overprotective

Kain the Knight of Princess Aria, and leader of the Ice Knights.Does being close to Aria really have that many perks??

Our story begins at the border of the Ice Kingdom and the Dragon Kingdom. A beautiful woman with glittering blue eyes, pure white hair, a short long sleeved dress, boots and a purse stands at the edge of the lake. The ice radiating a silvery glow from the beautiful crystal like objects on the surface.
I quietly stared into the crystals mesmerized by their beauty like it had some kind of special meaning to me, yet I could not quite understand it. Suddenly I heard a voice call out to me,"Excuse me miss..." I quickly turned around for the voice broke my concentration. A handsome man with shiny silver armor short black hair covering his left side, and a green eye was towering over me."Is something the matter?" I did not reply for I had no voice like my mother, but i could speak through telepathy. "What is wrong?" he repeated confused. I motioned to him that i could not speak and he understood almost immediately. "Oh please excuse me rude behavior." I quickly signaled that it was okay. He talked quite formally so i assumed that he was a Prince from another kingdom. " May I ask the name of the beautiful Princess i have come across?" I bent down to write my name clearly in the snow "Aria." "Such a beautiful name for a beautiful woman, my name is Ryder a pleasure." He took my hand and kissed the top of it.
"PRINCESS!" I heard someone shout for me so I tried to turnaround but before i could someone's back was covering my line of sight.It was my knight Kain. "Stay away from him, he is the Prince of the Dragon Kingdom. This could be a problem that you have met him." Ryder replied shocked "Princess! That means she is the only princess in the four provinces that i have been hearing about.
"Enough, we shall take our leave Princess." "Wait!"Paying no attention to Ryder, Kain dragged me along the frozen icy path back to the castle.
As i was dragged back to the ice castle, Kain and i cut through the town and looked at the various stands,carts, and stores. "Princess, did that man do anything funny to you?"I shook my head no. "Good, i dont know what i would have done if he laid a finger on you." He sighed in relief. "You are way too overprotective Kain! I can take care of my self!" "Okay no need to yell, its just that i feel obliged to protect you because you saved me as a child from dying." "I know Kain i appreciate it very much. I just feel bad because you have your job and you're wasting your time on me." " Don't be silly! Protecting you is my job and i take it very seriously Princess.." "Aria.." "What?" "Call me Aria just like when we were kids." "No i could not possibly!" He yelled. "Yes you will!" I replied sternly. "A-Aria...." He said my name so awkwardly. "From now on call me by my name." "Okay Aria, we need to return to the castle the King and Queen should be arriving back from the meeting." Kain grabbed my hand and my face blushed. I gripped it back. In the end we walked back to the castle hand and hand. Every so often he would tighten his grip on my hand as if he was holding onto a treasure he never wanted to let go of.
