miracle

miracle

A Poem by Ver

ancient magic of the heart
does anyone understand your tongue?
will i ever find that lost one
be whole and add to me

don't give before the miracle happens
shame if you fall on your blade
shame if you never pick it up

desire sparks interest in the unknown
fear not for it is just the unknown
was you frightened the last time
you didn't know the answer

launch yourself though the flames
they do not burn but mend and heal
your spirit will not be a waste
now share a meal with me and smile
while i complement your self inflicted insecurities

This is original & unexpected writing. I'm not sure what it all means, taken together as a message, but I very much enjoy your creative expressions in each line & verse. I get the picture of someone who will say almost anything to continue enjoying the company of this other person, particularly becuz of your last line (strong & well-crafted) Fondly, Margie
