A Poem by Cameron
"

Bare threads

"

It's all that's left,

After all they've done.

It happens so fast,

As I watch them run.

I have so many scars,

Which you never see.

Pieces and broken parts,

Is all that's left of me.

I sew myself back up,

And I never leave that place.

With thread left to spare,

I sew my painful smile on my sad face.

Ok, yes I've been in between a rock and a hard place, but this is what I've managed to be able to work into writing. Let me know what you think. Also no I'm not as depressed as these may appear, just letting you know.

Aww. I love this piece. It has simple rhymne schemes, but it brings home the point you're trying to make. I really enjoyed it(:

it is so hard to put up a facade when you are in so much pain inside. at least you have strength enough to even smile. and if you're the type of person that doesn't want people to feel sorry for you then you're doing a good job hiding your scars. excellent poem.

"see" and "me" really sells your poem. I don't like how you left the running metaphor of sewing scars with thread until the last line. I LOVE it. nice.

Sorry I've been so scatter brained lately that writing is a bit impossible, also thanks to the lack of inspiration. Well I have some, but I'm still trying to develop it further to see if it will lead .. more..
