Words

Sometimes i have issues voicing what i want to say.

Words, they’re like water

In a desert

Impossible to find but always needed

Whenever you’re near

 

Yet, when I’m away

My mind it brims

With words I wanted to say

They swim and threaten to escape

 

I catch them with a pen

And offload them to paper

That’s where they shall remain

Till one day

 

When you’re close

A word will slip by

Then you’ll ask

Without fear I’ll tell you

I hope to always

Keep you near
