Crimson Globes

Crimson Globes

A Poem by Verin

Glowing globes of liquid

Streaming from on high

Reflect a brilliant light

Although, as they descend

The brightness fades

The glamour fails

Shifting to a darkness

Stained crimson

Tear like drops

Crash; suddenly and violently

Into unforgiving earth

They splatter and spread

A blade has crossed our jugular

With broken wills

We color white walls red

Pure emotions bleed

Pouring from wounds

We all posses

Never healing

Refusing to stay closed
