Flowers

Flowers

A Poem by Veronica Lipton

You don't love me
Why
I try every day to give you my support
Yet your heart belongs to two
Two flowers
You say are both equally beautiful
But of course you may only take one
One flower you will pick
It will grow
The other shall wither
And die
You confuse me
I am the flower you say looks best
With a weed like you
But the other flower
Other people think that the rose
Best compliments the weed
And not the tulip
You have liked the rose for so long
And the tulip just recent
Do you love the rose
Or could it just be from habit
One grew
The tulip died

Unconditional love suffers the most difficulty in expressing the word for his/her love........
Major things can look small all the way where a minor wins over the heart!
A very grear reading I had. Thanks for sharing😊
