Zombies

A Poem by Vincent

"
Zebrines creatures contrasting with the dark night
Orderless, seeminlgy pointless wanderers
Men, women… No more. Only driven by appetite
Brains are what they devour, yours, their hors d’oeuvre
Inevitably growing in number, petrified by fear
Efficiency by the mass, you will not escape
Soon your time will come, infected! Dead… Alive

When you said you liked to put the acrostic form to use, I did not expect this humor and horror mixed into one. As if Stephen King could write poetry like this. I am sure if he put his mind to it he could, but would be merely following in your footsteps. Another write that captivates the mind!

I'm 26. A native french speaker, I only picked up creative writing and poetry recently. English felt like the best way to describe my feelings so far. Acrostic might be my favorite genre. more..
