Pigments

A Poem by Samantha ~virginpoet

We poets are somebody
not just indentured slaves
to art spilling creation
rockin flesh of black and blue
pigments of ink

Another interesting and thought provoking piece. I like the idea of "black and blue"--because it can be ink and flesh at the same time. We do tend to beat ourselves up in order to get the right words on the page at times.

Maybe we are maybe we are not? Maybe some are only driven to spill the blood of words? Thought provoking piece as always Samantha!
