I'm Fine

I'm Fine

A Poem by Vx

I know I haven't really been around much,
But just know I am doing just fine without you.
So much time has passed
I couldn't bear to fight the memories--
That haunt me in my sleep at night.
So long and good riddance,
I'm tired of fighting
For stupid fixes and repairs
That'll only lead to more damage.

Sometimes letting go and moving on is the best thing you can do. Holding on to something or someone that's not meant to be is usually more painful.
This is a lesson not easily learned.

I very much enjoyed your writing, It was very passionate , raw and honest. I look forward to reading more. Thank you for sharing.

Well if I am to be honest the last line reminded me of my house... but I get it... sometimes you just have to call it "over"
