The Blakemore Sparrows

The Blakemore Sparrows

A Poem by Michael Wade
"

I wrote this a month ago when my friend was getting married to his girl.

"
At Blakemore the angel still sing,
in harmony with the wedding bells' rings.
The two, their blushing souls did burn,
into one, the yearning that will forever yearn.
These pining sparrows,
they take flight among the morning gale.
To forever soar with that God-King,
laid about behind the hidden veil.

Michael, this had a nice ring to it. Like sunday church bells when you are not used to hearing them.
