Wishing Well

Wishing Well

A Story by Skye
"

how I wish the world was sometimes

"
I sometimes wish for brighter days, and lighter words to grace my lips. I wish to let myself relax more freely as a dawning calm takes over. No more unanswered questions will ever reach my ears, as something more than I can ever be leads me toward a greater being. Where understanding is more than just a fleeting thought and acceptance is grasped easily for those who have longed feared it. Rain is not berated for the darkness that it brings and sunshine can find its way to those who have not ever seen it. Thoughts can spread their knowledge and wisdom with no interference of shallow minds that will stifle their true meaning.

That is my wish each time I toss my coin into that well.

This isn't really a story, but it's not a poem either, so I'm stuck with it. Tell me what you think and as always, thanks for reading me. :)

About
Sometimes, I forget my passion underneath the demands of life and want of perfection. Then there are those nights where everything is clear, and I can't help but write what I feel. I love meeting .. more..
