A Dilemma

A Dilemma

A Poem by Skye

A craving that is always felt

But never satisfied

How can I live my life this way?

Distant from what really matters.

These words I try to spill are wrong,

And my pen is dry of ink.

Regardless of my sleepless nights,

Nothing seems to connect,

Though not for lack of trying.

Plots still brim, as wild as ever,

My imagination is not dry.

It seems my focus on the details

Has let the talent slip away.

About
Sometimes, I forget my passion underneath the demands of life and want of perfection. Then there are those nights where everything is clear, and I can't help but write what I feel. I love meeting .. more..
