There are times youre on top
There are times you feel small
There are times you cant be stopped
There are times you stumble and fall
All these moments in our lives
Bring important lessons
They are what it means to be alive
And they often carry blessings
They can come in many disguises
Of all shapes and sizes
But the importance in our lives is
What our mind contrives with this
Its a bowl of chaos with a cherry on top
Its often so scary
But you cant just close up shop
But rather quite the contrary
You have to push with everything in you
And never give up
Push until your cheeks turn blue
And then turn it up
Because life is a long haul
Itll often make you shiver
But there is a reason to call
Because you might just get the river
