The Mosque

The Mosque

A Poem by Wani Rahil
"

Gazing at The Home Of God, Everthing else seems blur..

"
Aloft in the air, stirring the mighty sky,
The turrets of the minaret.
The dome so lovely, so colossal,
Whole of cosmos vested in it.
Gawking at the stunning stature,
Nothing else do look active.
Who utters its man-made?
It has absorb'd me.
Verdant magnificence with a falcate moon,
More attractive than a clump of pearls.
Look, there it rests, the Domicile of God,
Divine destiny of us all..

Very descriptive indeed, nicely expressed

Very descriptive, though it makes one think.... Beyond the structure, the traditions, practices and all is the light in each of us - vessels of God and reflections of His Divinity if we only open the windows to let His love and light shine through. The Domicile of God lies not in any structure but within each of us as such is also the potential power to love each other despite all our differences.
