Soul Cry

The Feelings of Hope, and Inner Strength , Defined in Lyrical Musings..

Deep within me lies a flame so bright

it can devour all in it's light

a spark of passion so utterly pure

to stave off every mortal plight

awakened from within by gentle hands

that feed it from the warmth of love

roars within me like a beast

but is as gentle as a dove

burns my soul in it's holy flame

keeps me sane through all my pains

a medallion of courage in my breast

helps me endure the worst of tests

brought upon by fate and troubled life

such grief and such unwanted strife

trouble me none, i am immune

the flames of love that reside within

they Burn away the pain and sin..

Author's Note

i wrote this seems like in another life, before i knew what pain was like, when my soul was fed the warmth of love.. i later lost that warmth and the monster from within rose up to devour my sanity.. i hope you all like my words.. and i hope they taste well as they flow down your mind. and leave you with a brilliant airy, light and bright after taste..
