Love you from afar

Love you from afar

A Poem by Roderick Miller
"

Loving someone you can't be with is possibly the worst kind of torment

"
So many times I've thought of you
For the last few years
So many times those memories
Leave me shedding want full years
I do my best to carry on
But at the end of every day
I close my eyes and there you are
And I can't help but love you from afar

No chance I have to live my dreams
Because in them you're here with me
A boundary there that can't be crossed
All hope I have is all but lost
But I still can't help but love you from afar

If only you knew
Just how much I love you
If only you could see
How beautiful you are to me

Another day
Another dawn
Life goes by
As time passes on
So near to me
Yet still so far
A stubborn man
With a captive heart
I just can't help but love you from afar
