Inheritance

Inheritance

A Poem by WesleyAlexanderDavies
"

Something I should have told someone 2 days ago.

"
You
Inscrutable
Your spoils are Unsuitable

Inherently God given
Irreversible decision
Your luck knows no limit
But costs no obligation
Life to you must make so much sense
When family is as dispose as gold is dense

You
The inscrutable
Your
spoils are unsuitable

Your pockets are lined with teeth and an unquenchable demand
You sold the gold in your heart to feel the silver in your hand.

Unremarkable but at least your predictable

This poem makes me think of politicians, love the line "you sold the gold in your heart to feel the sliver in your hand". Very powerful imagery. Good work.
