listening

listening

A Poem by Will

How can I speak when there is nobody to listen?
Not until the tears run down my face and start to glisten,
How can I tell you how I feel?
If you won't accept my problems are real.
I break it gently and you say sorry,
I can't push and tell you not to worry,
You feel guilty and start to cry,
I can't go deeper if i try.
Whenever we talk you blame yourself,
Its really not good for your health,
No release, frustration starts to build,
It keeps going, i am completely filled.
We try to talk, i feel ignored,
It almost feels like you are bored,
You say we should talk face to face,
Yet you give no time or place.
I can't vent, i just feel stuck,
I hope this doesn't hit you like a truck,
But what I want is someone to listen,
So my tears don't have to glisten.
