Calling for a Muse

Calling for a Muse

A Poem by FlatLineBeauty

Come into my dreary life

Color the pages with beautiful colors

Help me to see life from your eyes

Give me a new perspective

Put me under your spell

Drive me crazy

Be the center of my obsession

Just a single taste

If she's the one

I'll become addicted

Keep me close

But don't give in too much

Take all of me

Never let me go

Wishing for this beauty every night

On every shooting star

I need that desire

Be my drive

A writer without a muse

Is a life in hell

Kiss my lips

Pull me in deep

Raises hand..lol!

I want to be the gateway outta hell, for your words create the stairway to heaven.

ah, yes, the muse. A fickle thing, is it not? Wonderfully captured in this "ad"

A breathtaking assessment of the poet's plight, though it could be interpreted in many other ways too...you speak for many of us with crystal clarity in your sentiments here...lovely work Amanda :)

Thank you. I hope you find a lovely muse worth your while. Xo
I once deluded myself into believing the muse was someone in my life and while they did indeed trigger my move into writing, they were not the muse I was using as it was inside of me.

The same goes for you or any poet for that matter.

No need to fill that void with another when you are your own muse - once you figure that out the world of writing takes on a whole new perspective.

Kudos and keep it up.

Hello Amanda,

Anyone who can say f**k 'em and still look good doing it, I have to read. Something simple and semi erotic, course then again I can't help but the kissing...and the shooting stars...and the oh..sorry writing a review here.

Anyway, I like the layout and the pace. Flowed well, and very inspiring on so many different levels. Just don't tell my wife. Well done.

With love,

Matthew

I find a certain positive vibration in this poem.It inspires me to once come out of despair, and write something different.I think I will do that tonight. But thank you for giving me a taste of the other side of midnight.Hope to read more positivities from you.
