Leaning sideways

Leaning sideways

A Poem by Nicole

I look in the mirror and begin to judge
I look into my eyes and have had enough
Am i right to question my intentions
When all i want is to know there accepted
I look into my eyes to only see regret and sorrow
For the crimes I committed here and tomorrow
I am lost with no way home
Crawling backwards towards the cold---
But purposely I let go
The truth lies behind these eyes
I am guilty of this life
What do i see when i look in the mirror?
I see the eyes of a lost girl filled with fear
(Nlr)
