Autumn Evening

Autumn Evening

A Poem by The Sarcastic Saggi

A cool breeze

kisses my face.

Dry leaves

dance and twirl.

The gaps in the branches

of naked trees

allow grey light

to brighten the meadow.

I lay down on my stomach on a picnic blanket.

My bare feet are up, feeling the air.

Red Book in my hand.

It was just another Autumn Evening
