Old.

I'm stuck in a whirlwind of drama and pain.

Hoping someday I'll get what I want...

So indecisive and incredulous, 

I separate myself from everyone else.

It's as if I'm my own type of human, 

everyone just glances my way and forgets that I'm even here.

I'm trapped in a cage, bound by chains, 

hoping one day I'll finally be free.

They never listen to what I say if I try to explain, 

they act as if I'm not here.

I wish someone would make the wounds disappear, 

mend my broken heart, and please never leave me.

When I stand close all they see is a girl with a single tear going down her cheek, 

and then I act as if I'm on stand-by.

I was thrown into a river of confusion and loneliness, 

hoping someday what I want will be mine.

I am filled with depression and hurt, 

which makes me separate myself from everyone else.

I just glance their way, walk away, and wish they weren't even here.
