Words of Light

Words of Light

A Poem by Wolfwind

Time

Etched forever in a photographers eye

A morning moment

A serene sigh

Thoughts drifting, wondering

How high

Might life fly?

A prayer upon the wind

A message

Chasing the rays of light

Another has it in sight.

Be safe

Be secure

Know thy heart beat is cherished

Smile

Shed a tear

Know my love pulses for you

Upon every thread

Every shining ray of sun and soul

To embrace and fill

Your spirit woven bowl

Each morning you are upon the mind

And each night, dreams never leave you behind

You are ever present in my days

You and your mystical beautiful ways

So look to the light and remember

The power of us and all it could engender

And know that I love you

Patiently

Calmly

Freely

The love you feel is clear. But why do I get the feeling that it isn't a person you wrote about? This just sounds so clearly like a place in your heart that you just yearn for with all of your soul. (I really may be off, but that is the feel I get, and I get it incredibly strong) Like needing the completion of your return to bring solace and contentment to you again. (Again I may be way off here) Places can mean more than people to us in many ways. Don't be offended if I'm wrong, the love and respect in this piece is incredible...just stunning. Don't even get me started on how you placed a quiet rhyme in there as well.. :) Stunning
