A Guiding Star

For some it might be simply the moon.
For others, a light to bathe in one's imagination.
Yet for me, I believe it is that guiding star
Forever shining bright in the heavens night.
Showing the wayward traveler the path, the way
To a place called home.

Hmm..I've been lost a time or two and it always seems to be foggy out ;) But really, that is a beautiful description of what guides us where we wish to be, or are going. A star can be anything you want it to. There is something inside us, the radar, that tells us which way to go. I love the idea of it, apparently I've been lost for years...Maybe I should take your advice and look for a pathway. :)

for me it is simply and deliciously the moon ~ in all her moods and seasons. I like the space and freedom in this piece, and the honoring of different viewpoints. enigmatic and serene. beautiful image ~ is it of tonight's full moon,or an earlier one, I have to wonder?
