Called home

Called home

A Poem by Levita G. Gonzalez

Over unmarked roads and paths you walk
listening with your heart of hearts to the stream that calls you,
Charter a ship to sail the vast cerulean blue
Looking and longing we go through life,
Listening for this calling.

Some though are called away to fast...
They are the ones whose hearts are sure and brave
They are needed for higher things,
so we wait here upon this mortal land
Forever walking , searching and calling
To find our way home back to you.
