"Memorial Stones"
Joshua 4:1-9

Memorial Day has lots of meaning
Some drink and have beef to BBQ
Others go to church to pray
For freedoms shared so true

A memorial is something special
For those who died for freedom
To always truly remember
Living now in God's Kingdom

Lord you help me to remember
With rainbows and communion,
Baptism, the symbol of the cross
Oh! To meet You in heavenly reunion

In Joshua you spoke of 12 stones
Representing people of 12 tribes
They went through the river
Stones so heavy as it describes

Peter said be "Living Stones"
My memorial in life is interconnected
How will people remember me
Will Jesus say "Well done, you're selected"

He is my precious corner stone
On Him I do believe and cleave
He is my rock to stand upon
He notices me, His love I do receive

Verse on photo 2 Samuel 22:2-3
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and horn of my salvation, my stronghold
And my refuge.
