Sympathy for a child that runs

Sympathy for a child that runs

A Poem by Wordless_Prism

There are people since the world was made That run and run to catch the last shade of day Never seeming to catch up to those ahead As they push on and on, on little legs If you feel this way my dear Lend to me thy little ear For you see, I have sympathy, for a child that runs At one time, all, everyone, even me, was a child once So run, don't be sad, and try to keep up, little eyes of jade We've all been trying to catch up since the world was made
