I Need Some Opinions!

 My best friend and I are currently writing a story and I've been differing back and fourth weither or not it should only have one origin of mythology in it or a bunch of others.  © 2012 Write4MyLife

What do you guys thing, should it just have one origin of mythology or a bunch of others. The one thing about having it changed to one origin is that I don't know if I'll be able to find others like the old ones in that origin. So one origin or more?
