Mathterbational Logic

A Poem by
"

An explanation of why I quit studying Philosophy.

"

And yet, so Privileged, Protected, Unaffected

The Accretion, Achievement, Acquirement

of Academic Knowledge.

Inconceivably Vast Minds stare down from Minarets of Monolithic Structural Proportions.

The Ivory High Rise is in full effect.

Propositions, Statements,

Indexically Implied Covert Beratements,

lest the Pupils Participate in the

Procuration, Purchase, Pursuit

of Published Professional Proficiency. Call me Out!

So that my Miniscule Powers may be Chided before All.

It moves one to Abdicate one's path to Higher Conceptions of the Mind

And yet we flock to you!

i am certainly not Innocent in this,

my Inelasticity is as great as Yours.

Perhaps therein lies the Explanation: we are United in our Absolute Rigidity,

yet Yours is of an Expansive Rigorousness,

fed by the Accomplishments of Goliaths,

and beneath it i Cower, i can feel the Power.

Ascension, Redemption?

Or an excuse for Condescension?

It matters LITTLE, when the Treasures you Guard

Are of such Real Pristine Appraisal.

There lies what every man seeks.

And yet, upon Retrieving It

What can be said to happen?

Utterances Metamorphose beyond Sane Recognition,

Innocuous Familiarity Transfigures into Opaque Obtrusion.

Application is lost, Obscurity regarded as Beatitudinous Divinity,

the Minds of Men Recoil.

Boggling becomes Permanent Occupation,

Shrouded in Caliginosity Created by Mountainous Peaks of Paper.

'tis no Reward, so wherefore is it Sought Eternally,

at the Grim price of Callously Creating an Embargo

to the Horrendous Exclusion of the Aspirant?

It moves one to Abdication.
