Change

Change

A Poem by
"

Sometimes people change, whether we want them to or not.

"

They said she died of natural causes, but

I never really noticed until you

Buried her chipped bones in your handbag

Beneath cheap lip-gloss and phone bills.

I said change is gradual;

You said change is only

Natural.

"Change is inevitable"
Well, maybe not from a vending machine.

Enjoyed the poem Evergreen Rose.
Loved the way you tied it up with the, natural, theme.

Good Write!

this poem is very touching. it's short and very powerful within its words. the pain and suffering from death can be quite a good subject to write about, if you can pull it off. in my opinion you have done this very well. great work.
