Pained Poetry

Pained Poetry

A Poem by

Looking back at how we used to be

you and me

I feel the desire to bring you back

but has the time passed?

Is it too late... or am I on time?

look at how you make me rhyme!

Your love set me free

but it still attracts me

But for anyone else to be with me, it is too late

no one else can relate. . .

I dream of your crooked smile and the life

that was once in your eyes.

When thoughts of you invade my mind...

i want just to make you mine.

The urge to be near you is so strong

i dont think this can go on too long

Each month, week, ay, hour, minute, second

it makes me long for you more, your hand

I just need you hear by me

the way it used to be

So close now I can taste your smell

this place, a torturous hell

But I'd walk through hell to be with you

for once, my love {only for you} is true.
