The stars

The stars

A Poem by

Shining like the sun but late at night,

Oh how the stars shed so much light,

When we were young and maybe now,

We wish uppon the stars for magic but we don't know how,

The wishes might be granted for us,

Possibly if we don't put up a fuss,

Even today I wish sometimes,

Upon a star with a little ryme,

Starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight,

I wish I may, and I wish I might,

Please give me my wish to night.

May all childhood memories be preserved,

So you can remember the good all days,

When you were princes and princesses in castles of your own,

And stars were how you wished for your way.
