Lovelies.

Lovelies.

A Poem by
"

Choosing between who you love more is always a huge deal in a teenager's life. It f*cking sucks.

"

A choice to make, a price to pay

Not sure what to do, don't know what to say

I'm here for you, I feel the same way

Hush for now, wait another day

And I promise it will go away

Everything will be okay

You'll see, it'll all be worth your while

So cheer up for now, lets see a smile

You give and you take, you scream 'til you wake

To cold sweats and heartache

This decision is entirely yours to make

I'm telling this for your sake

So come on now, take a break

It's hard to choose, either way you win but you lose

The other, but you love each other

Sometimes the thoughts overwhelm and smother you

The world turns an abysmal shade of blue

This would be so much easier if you only knew

Who was the right guy in the end to choose

As the stress builds up, you burn out your fuse

You're so confused, Click, Click, Boom.

Nothing could ever compare

To this feeling of cross despair

Caught in this battle field

Pick a side if you dare

Just understand

I'm here now

But all I can do is hold your hand

Hold back the tears

Tempting whispers

In your ears

The scars this will bring

Will be there for years

Just make the decision

And face your fears

I liked...your world turned an abysmal shade of blue. I thought the line...click click boom...had great impact. Thanks.
